Business Solutions DesignerOverviewThe Business Solutions Designer will be an integral part of the delivery of high-end software solutions for our CLARIFIRE® Application and its features, which is a SaaS based solution developed in-house and is designed to provide workflow automation to our clients. The right candidate will have a high degree of business and analytical skills to solve complex problems and will play a key role in the implementation of viable, marketable, and supportable products and services. The candidate must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy and be able to stay current with industry requirements.

Responsibilities

Understand client business needs and help design and build solutions to include requirements, configuration, and testing.

Engage with clients at all levels to ensure business needs are understood and incorporated into the design.

Support internal and external teams during development, testing and implementation phases of provided designs.

Communicate solution design plans to internal and external sponsors using prescribed functional design formats.

Review investor policy and industry related compliance regulations. Report on changes and communicate on areas of impact to CLARIFIRE.

Provide knowledge around features and functions of the CLARIFIRE Application to make necessary best practice recommendations.

Continually seek opportunities to increase efficiencies through design and implementation of new methodologies and solutions.

Maintain extensive knowledge of CLARIFIRE Products and Features including their benefits and limitations.

Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Loss Mitigation and Default Servicing.

Act as a Subject Matter Expert and liaison for CLARIFIRE and CLARIFIRE CALCULATOR.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal/communication skills. Effective presentation and communication skills with the talent to develop relationships that foster business ties.

Proven analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with ability to translate client needs into business requirements.

Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to multi-task in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

Possess an in-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making.

High level of organization and planning skills, ability to create detailed plans and the diligence to follow and monitor the plans through execution and completion.

Familiarity and understanding of relational databases. SQL experience desired.

Experience with loss mitigation, liquidation, foreclosure, and bankruptcy requirements and processes.

Understanding of the GSE, federal, and state servicing requirements.

Experience with mortgage servicing platform functionality.

Requirements

4-year college degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3-5 years of experience in the Mortgage Industry, preferred on the Mortgage Servicing Default side with exposure to Loss Mitigation Strategies.

Ability to travel occasionally; approximately 10% of the time.

The following additional background searches will be required if applicable to the position:Credit History:

confirms candidate's credit history. This search will be run for positions that involve management of [Company Name] funds and/or handling of cash or credit cards.

ProcedureFinal candidates must complete a background check authorization form and return it to Human Resources.

At the time an offer of employment is made, and accepted, Clarifire will provide the routine background notice and forms to be completed.Human Resources will order the background check upon receipt of the signed release form, and an employment screening service will conduct the checks. A designated HR representative will review all results.The HR representative will notify the hiring manager regarding the results of the check. In instances where negative or incomplete information is obtained, the appropriate executive management contact and the Human Resources Consultant will assess the potential risks and liabilities related to the job's requirements and determine whether the individual should be hired. If a decision not to hire or promote a candidate is made based on the results of a background check, there may be certain additional Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requirements that will be handled by Human Resources in conjunction with the employment screening service (if applicable).Background check information will be maintained in a file separate from employees' personnel files for a minimum of five years.Clarifire reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without notice.
