You will review and interpret system requirements and business processes. You will code, tests, debug and implement software solutions.Requires working and conceptual knowledge in your own job disciplinePerforms a range of assignments related to a job disciplineAccountable for your work and for effective coordination of process and information with othersWorks independently, within guidelines and policies for ongoing work; may receive general mentorship on new assignments of the software development lifecycleRole summary and job responsibilitiesContributes to all parts of the SDLC, e.g., design, development, and testingDevelops technical solutions following standard methodologies with some guidance from senior engineersPractices automated testing and tests your work in an automated and repeatable wayIdentifies and remediates technical debtWorks with existing data models and schemas and suggests changes and improvements where necessaryDemonstrates strong logic and reasoning capabilitiesDelivers on well-specified work itemsUses questions and proposals to clarify requirements when unclearBusiness knowledgeApplies understanding of the Financial Services and Asset Management industriesConnects one's own work with the strategy of their team and/or department.Can competently engage in business-led conversations.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND1+ years of total relevant work experiencePreferred QualificationsAble to operate with openness and efficiency with one or more SDLC methodologies (e.g., Scrum)Actively seeks feedback and guidance to improve technical skills (e.g., through submitting work for code review)Demonstrates competence in one or two programming languages or technologiesWorks with existing data models and schemas and suggests changes and improvements where necessaryDebugs and fixes your own software with minimal assistancePractices automated testing and tests your work in an automated and repeatable wayExperience with modern JavaScript frameworks and reactive developmentExperience with UI Design tools (Adobe XD, Figma, etc.) to create and translate designs to hi-fidelity prototypes.FINRA RequirementsFINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.Work FlexibilityThis role is eligible for full time remote work.Regional RequirementsBase salary range:$92,500 - $158,500 USD for the locations of: Colorado and the State of Washington$115,500 - $197,000 USD for the locations of: California and New YorkThis job posting is expected to be available until 5/22/2024.Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.
