UI Programmer

to join our team on-site in our Richardson, TX studio to work on legendary id games. We are looking for people that are passionate about games and want to make the best - in - class UI experience for players. You must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills and a desire to be a part of a fast - paced and creative team.

Position will be based on-site in Richardson, TX (north of Dallas). Relocation assistance is available.Responsibilities

Work with artists, gameplay designers, and engineers to deliver usable interfaces for game systemsPartner with various teams to take wireframes & design specs and turn them into reality using several technologiesCollaborate closely with the UX design team to iterate designs into living presentation codeRapidly prototype experiences for usability testingWork closely with user experience engineers to collect production UI requirements and create solutionsDesign, write, debug and refine UI systems and underlying architectureA ssist in design of UI flow and functionalityImplement UI design assets in gameQualifications

3+ years of professional C++ developmentGame development experience preferredComfortable working in cross-discipline teamsExcellent organization and time management skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to write clear, maintainable, portable code that adheres to a well-documented coding standardMust be a self-motivated and energetic team player with a very strong work ethic and cooperative attitudeBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.Preferred Skills

K nowledge of Flash and Action ScriptSalary RangeUI Programmer - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $75,000 - $160,000 per year.

Sr. UI Programmer - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $100,000 - $215,000 per year.

ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate's primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
