JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect who will own the integrity and strength of our Salesforce Marketing solutions. You'll be acting as a trusted advisor to our team and clients, and an effective mentor for other Salesforce professionals working alongside you. You will need a deep technical understanding of the Salesforce platform but just as importantly, top-notch people skills to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders to get your visions built into successful solutions.

The successful candidate will have the ability to develop technical solutions and communicate these ideas to all members of a project team, along with a demonstrated ability to meet schedules and multi-task. This position requires strong attention to detail while being able to see the larger picture, as well as an ability to build relationships with all levels within the organization, and lead delivery. The environment is innovative and rapidly maturing to create a scalable platform for a long service life. After-hours and weekend work is occasionally required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with the marketing and customer experience teams to provide input on best practicesArchitect and present proofs of concepts with the appropriate level of abstraction as a means of eliciting and defining requirementsEvaluate current state instance and lead efforts to expand capabilities and build future state vision of SFMCRefine SFMC product backlog, in liaison with stakeholders, ensuring acceptance criteria are well and clearly defined for storiesOversee our Salesforce Marketing Cloud instance to support communication, demand generation and lead capture efforts.Manage the automated data import process in collaboration with IT and other cross-functional business partners.Supervise the configuration, quality assurance, and deployment of Salesforce Marketing CloudMentor and manage teams to provide a full complement of capabilities and ownership for the platformCollaborate with web developers, enterprise architects, solution architects, integration architects, and data analysts to support enterprise solutionsRemain up to date on Salesforce Marketing Cloud releases, including innovative features and third-party solutions; propose forward thinking solutionsOversee the SFMC DevOps and release management processCreate landing pages and webforms using SFMC Web Studio.Provide reporting and metrics related to all activity within SFMC.Leverage marketing technology to automate campaigns where possible while applying customization and personalization.Execute with clarity and precision using a customer-centric view.Take a data-driven approach to marketing campaigns and prioritization of resources.Build and maintain marketing campaigns using automations and journeys that groom prospects via email/text message/Able to utilize Return Path to run robust reports and monitor IP healthEnsure documentation of the steps for testing and coordination with other teamsTrouble shooting and support of platforms including management of 3rd party support services.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedMANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

7-10 years' experience in a technical role in delivering results to business stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor3-5 years of experience administering or managing Salesforce Marketing CloudHave the expertise to create personalized, dynamic messages and landing pages, and are fluent in Marketing Cloud scripting languages.Strong SFMC SQL skillsRequired Salesforce certifications:Marketing Cloud AdministratorMarketing Cloud Developer

Additional Salesforce Certifications a plus (Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement)Sense of ownership over the marketing platform and resulting solutionsExcellent relationship-building skillsExcellent communication skills, written, verbal, and interactive when onlineStrong analytical skills, with the ability to observe trends. Bachelor's / Postgraduate degree or professional qualification in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Finance or a similar field of study,Salesforce Admin and Developer certifications,Salesforce Architecture certifications,Active in the Salesforce community.Math and Language Skills

WORKING CONDITIONS
