Retail Media and Monetization Specialist is responsible for maximizing revenue for AWG's Retail Marketing Network through advertising and promotional strategies within their digital platforms.

The Retail Media and Monetization Specialist plays a critical role in helping retailers leverage their digital presence and customer data to increase revenue streams while providing relevant and engaging advertising experiences to their audience. This is a crucial role in driving product visibility, sales and revenue in the competitive retail landscape.

Key duties include:Monetization Strategy:

Developing and executing strategies to generate revenue from various digital assets, such as e-commerce websites, mobile apps, social media channels and more.Advertising Programs:

Creating and managing advertising programs, including display ads, sponsored content, and partnerships with brands / advertisers.Data Analysis:

Analyzing customer data and behavior to identify opportunities for targeted advertising and optimize monetization strategies.Ad Inventory Management:

Efficiently managing available advertising space and inventory to optimize revenue and fill rates.Retail Marketing Network Proposals:

Work with vendor partners to develop RMN proposals based on vendor partner goals and budgets.RMN Campaign Management:

Overseeing the planning, execution, and performance optimization of RMN campaigns, including ad targeting and creative content.Partnership Development:

Building and maintaining relationships with advertising partners, agencies, and brands to secure advertising deals and partnerships.Ad Compliance:

Ensuring that all advertising and promotional content adhere to industry regulations and standards.Performance Metrics:

Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue, click-through rates, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI).User Experience:

Balancing revenue generation with maintaining a positive user experience by optimizing ad placements and relevance.E-commerce Integration:

Collaborating with e-commerce teams to seamlessly integrate advertising within the Retail Marketing Network platform.Market Research:

Staying informed about market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging advertising technologies to stay competitive.Testing and Optimization:

Conducting A/B testing and experiments to continually improve ad formats, placements, and strategies.ROI Analysis:

Evaluating the ROI for advertising campaigns and strategies, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.Collaboration:

Working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and merchandising teams, to align advertising efforts.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.Proven experience in shopper marketing, including omnichannel strategies.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage budgets effectively.Proficiency in marketing software and tools.Strong project management skills.Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc.
