The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for crafting, managing and enhancing Jackson Lewis' presence across various social media platforms, and empowering the firm's attorneys and professionals to maximize their online presence. This role is pivotal in publicizing and promoting the firm's initiatives, culture and successes.The ideal candidate will combine exceptional writing, design and social media management skills to create engaging, brand-focused content and drive innovative social media campaigns surrounding major firm initiatives. The Social Media Coordinator will work under the guidance of the firm's Public Relations Manager and in collaboration with the internal communications and DEI teams to ensure a cohesive, effective online presence. This is a highly visible role and requires a self-starting individual with a strong technical background, a talent for writing creative copy and the credibility and gravitas to work in a fast-paced professional services environment.Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy and content calendar that aligns with the firm's goals and brand strategy.Create engaging, informative and professional multimedia content for a variety of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, X, Facebook and Instagram.Monitor and leverage social media trends, tools and best practices for the firm's benefit, including industry developments such as ABA compliance and ethical behavior on social media channels.Create and deliver training materials for attorneys on best practices to use social media to leverage thought leadership and branding opportunities.Collaborate with attorneys, the Communications team and other business services teams to highlight case victories, legal insights and firm events.Track and analyze social media performance metrics to gauge success and identify areas for improvement.Engage with the online community, responding to comments and messages in a manner consistent with the firm's voice and policies.Coordinate with Communications and Marketing team colleagues across internal communications, public relations, awards and graphic design to ensure messaging aligns with overall communication strategies and objectives.Design basic assets and animations, and edit testimonial videos, for people and culture-driven campaigns; contribute to narratives to improve employee engagement and retention.Skills and Educational Requirements: Superior writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills with knowledge of AP style; ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format and adapt communication style and tone to relevant audiences.An eye for design and excellent skills as related to technical platforms and tools, combined with the ability to master new tools quickly.2-4 years of experience in a related field and role, with a professional services background preferred.Impeccable attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Positive, entrepreneurial, problem-solving attitude; ability to meet competing deadlines and shifting priorities.Confident, dynamic personality and a willingness to build relationships and collaborate across the broader business services teams.Skilled in Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint and Teams; experience with SmartSheet, Canva and Camtasia preferred.Bachelor's degree required in Communications, English, Public Relations or a related field.For Colorado, Illinois, Pennsylvania and the DC Region, the expected salary range for this position is between $31.00 and $37.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses.
