Senior Sales Manager, Multi- Family - Cox Communities

The Senior Sales Manager Multi-Family is responsible for directly managing a team of Account Executives, matrix managing sales support resources responsible for growing revenue, penetration and ensuring customer satisfaction. Develops, implements, and leads sales strategies to exceed revenue growth and profit objectives by being and having a team of Trusted Advisors to owners with the goal of minimizing exposed property risk and securing exclusive property marketing rights and or wholesale Managed Wi-Fi, Bulk Modem and/or Property IoT bulk agreements.

What You'll Do

You'll focus on overall companywide leadership, management, and sales strategies to exceed revenue growth. Other responsibilities include:

  • Provide positive leadership and vision to develop a strong business to business sales culture that balances the urgency of meeting budget goals with focus on team success.
  • Ensures sales team appropriately positions and builds relationships with C-Level officers and property owners.
  • Develop Account Executives on negotiation and complex selling skills to sell advanced property technology such as Property Managed IoT & Managed Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Hire, develop, and manage the performance of the account team to meet and exceed targets for revenue growth, productivity, contract service requirements, quality, and optimization of assigned client's satisfaction.
  • Works with the Account Executives and Sales Director, to develop account strategies and detailed plans to meet and exceed sales targets, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive efficiencies.
  • Implements the corporate/regional strategy with their Account Executive teams.
  • Ensures that processes conform to all contract commitments made on behalf of Cox to each client inclusive of project design, scope of work commitments, trouble management, SLAs, and network performance requirements.
  • Supports the Account Executives as they execute account plans and projects to increase penetration within assigned portfolios.
  • Drives alignment, consistency, and cohesiveness in people practices, management activities, overall performance management and customer service delivery, to achieve personnel and department goals.
  • Strategically prioritizes team's sales funnel in order to achieve Monthly and Quarterly sales goals, company objectives, and customer activation deadlines.
  • Remains current on connectivity solutions that power advanced property technology solutions for property Owners and competitive trends.
  • Establishes and leverages strong business partnerships across assigned regions and with Regional and Center boundary partners to maximize communication and representation to maximize effectiveness.
  • Ensures appropriate staffing by effectively interviewing, hiring, coaching, disciplining, evaluating, and mentoring of Account Executives
  • Drives the team to achieve and exceed sales and revenue goals through coaching, monitoring, and feedback sessions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert within their area of responsibility to manage all standard processes, including management of design-to-cost IRR estimate to prepare financially beneficial proposals that meet customer requirements.
  • Effectively resolves complex customer complaints concerning all areas of the company in a win-win fashion by building rapport with the customer using interpersonal techniques and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Provides influence to help shape and change market strategies.

Who You Are

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in management or leadership role.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, reliable transportation.


Preferred

  • Minimum of five years successful experience in C-Level sales and/or account management
  • 2+ Years Business to Business sales management experience.
  • Identifies and demonstrates knowledge of competition in ILEC, Wireless, Satellite and Aggregator industries.

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $115,400.00 - $173,200.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $52,800.00.
