We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Permanent Audit Manager to join our fast-paced Finance team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to oversee audit engagements and to contribute to the strategic growth of our company. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of audit principles and regulations, and will be responsible for leading a team in conducting comprehensive financial audits for various clients. Responsibilities:
  • Plan, manage, and oversee all elements of audits including risk management, audit engagements, and audit reports.
  • Lead a team of auditors in performing financial audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP, US GAAS, PCAOB audit standards, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and identify potential areas of financial and operational risk.
  • Develop audit plans and schedules, ensuring they are effectively communicated and adhered to by the audit team.
  • Review and approve audit work papers prepared by audit staff, ensuring they meet the required quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to audit staff to enhance their understanding of audit principles and practices.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare and present audit findings to senior management, providing practical and cost-effective recommendations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations and standards, ensuring the company's audit procedures are updated accordingly.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar audit manager role, preferably in the Finance industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of audit principles and practices, including NFP Audit, EBP audit, GAAP, Financial Auditing, Accounting, PCAOB audit, Manufacturing Audits, and 1095C Audit.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing audit engagements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify financial risks and propose solutions.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, including the ability to handle confidential information.
