Job Details:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Purchasing Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operations of our manufacturing processes by managing all purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, and inventory management, with a solid understanding of shipping and receiving processes. Experience with packing list to purchase software and uploading packing lists is crucial.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Purchasing Specialist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Managing and overseeing all purchasing activities within the manufacturing setting, ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
2. Conducting regular analysis of the supply chain to identify potential improvements and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
3. Coordinating with various departments to forecast needs and plan procurement schedules.
4. Handling shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all stages.
5. Managing inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing effective inventory control measures.
6. Utilizing packing list to purchase software for efficient ordering and tracking of materials.
7. Uploading packing lists and maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities.
8. Negotiating with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and maintaining strong relationships with reliable vendors.
9. Identifying potential supply risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
10. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Purchasing Specialist position, candidates must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, and supply chain management.
3. Solid understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
4. Proficiency in inventory management and control.
5. Experience with packing list to purchase software and uploading packing lists.
6. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
7. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential improvements in the supply chain.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Proficiency in relevant software applications and technology.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
