If you have both manual labor/warehouse experience and basic computer skills, this job would be perfect for you! A manufacturing company in Rochester Hills has a contract opportunity for a expeditor. The main function of this position is learning leather requirements for various types of order and cut appropriate samples. This also includes reviewing the quality of the leather throughout the process. If you meet the qualifications listed below - Apply Now! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1) Rolling and boxing hide orders 2) Lernign leather and be an expert at selecting samples 3) Labeling samples accurately 4) Keep accurate records of design horse inventory 6) Maintain clean work area 7) Track stock of boxes, rolling tubes, and other commonly used supplies. 8) Utilize/learn latest technologies to complete listed tasks. 9) Other duties as assigned **Desired Skills** 1) Strong Organizational skills 2) Ability to work in a team environment and take direction 3) Ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds 5) Must be able to speak/understand/read/write English or show aptitude 6) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 7) Willingness/Ability to learnRequirements -HS Diploma/GED -Be able to pass a color discrimination test -Inventory experience**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
