Job Details Responsibilities: Performs VEEGs and routine EEGs on in and out patients in a safe and timely manner in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures, including but not limited to applying leads using the 10-20 system of measurement. Transports patients for testing as needed. Identifies and marks EEG tracings for findings and artifacts. Notifies interpreting neurologist of tests awaiting interpretation. Provides an initial report for interpreting neurologist. Maintains a log of all EEGs including the patient’s name, admission number, ordering physician and in or out patient status. Other miscellaneous but important information will be recorded. Performs/assists on ancillary tests including WADA, intracranial monitoring, Evoke Potentials, Cerebral Brain Death EEGs, electrocorticography. Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. EEG experience required. Prior video EEG experience and ABRET registration or equivalent preferred. Salary Range USD $42.15 - USD $42.15 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
