Your Impact

Hearst Autos is looking for a Publisher Manager to work with the automotive publishers on various projects to drive scale and revenue against market demand. This is an opportunity to learn the more advanced principles of publisher management in the digital advertising space, including how to analyze content strategies, UX best practices, and reporting for revenue opportunities. The Publisher Manager will be responsible for coordinating multiple project schedules and resources across our portfolio, while maintaining day to day relationships and needs of our publishers. Working with our publisher management team, the ideal candidate should be highly organized, analytical, proven ability to multi-task and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

ResponsibilitiesProvide publishers transparency into the health of the business and market demand, and empower them with the information, tools, and support they need to be able to grow based on the needs of the business.Serve as the main point of contact on site redesigns, product development, content strategies, and other high-profile audience development initiatives.Provide and execute creative solutions to enhance publisher sites and increase advertising impressions and engagement against market demand.Strong understanding of the market strategies and goals behind Hearst Autos product offerings and services to present revenue opportunities to publishers.Help troubleshoot ad targeting and product implementation issues and investigate solutions to improve ad quality (IVT and Viewability).Use analytical tools to compile site traffic trends to help publishers better understand their business while building scale and revenue against future opportunities.Build strong, long-term client relationships while addressing client queries effectively and in a timely mannerDemonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-levelStaying up to date on trends within the automotive industry and digital advertising spaceInterface with Ad Operations, Product, SEO, Insights, Marketing, Technology, Finance and Sales teams, to support the publisher partners.Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience

Minimum of 3 years experience in account or project management in the digital media / online advertising space.Adaptable, with proven ability to effectively manage and prioritize workload.Strong solution selling and presentation abilities through excellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail oriented and analytical problem-solving skillsThrives in client focused approach through fast pace, collaborative team environmentTechnical Competences

Proficient in Microsoft applications: Excel, Outlook and Google Suite: Docs, Sheets, Slides, and DrivePrior experience with Google Premium Tags, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, and Tableau, a plus

The base salary for this role in New York and California is between $113,000 to $135,000 annually. The base salary for this role in Michigan is between $101,700 to $121,550 annually. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
