Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Sr. iOS Product Designer to join one of North America's largest retail organizations. This is a hybrid role and will require two days on-site per week in downtown Seattle. You will be supporting our client's BBR Team - which provides support to all in-store employees, allowing them to personalize their experience with customers. In this senior role, you will also be responsible for mentoring more junior team members. Your mentorship will come in the form of asking questions, encouraging further exploration into design processes, and opening the floor for more conversation. You will be part of a collaborative team with product managers, developers, and other agile team members to unify and evolve designs and code that help to unlock elevated experiences across their ecosystem. The team is looking for someone to "elevate" each project by brining new ideas, practices and processes with their experience and enabling more creative freedom.
Other responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Design solutions for a wide range of problems based on qualitative and/ or quantitative analytics
* Clearly identify opportunities and communicate design rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and be open to their feedback
* Design and develop prototypes to iterate on solutions with the rest of the team, or to leverage in user interviews/usability tests
* Apply and champion design thinking principles
* Partner with research team to plan, design and in some cases, conduct research to inform your design decisions
* Be a collaborative, systems-thinker that continues to find ways to evolve and improve how we work
* Deliver user experiences that meet or beat success criteria, driving measurable results such as higher adoption, higher engagement, life time value, etc.
* Leverage and contribute to the design system, in some cases crafting everything from component level pixels to documentation for implementation and wide-spread usage
* Contribute to all scrum team ceremonies, representing design
* Provide support and feedback to design teammates to cultivate designs and culture that feel harmonious

Skills and Requirements
7+ years' experience designing end-to-end iOS mobile applications; preferably coming from retail background.
Strong visual design expertise, in addition to UX experience.
Experience designing native iOS applications; mobile applications that have been published.
Experience using data to inform designs and doing UX research (e.g. prototyping).
Expert-level knowledge of Figma and knowledge of how design systems work.
Experience creating UX artifacts (e.g. IA, wireframes, journey maps, etc.).
Very familiar with operating under Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG).
Familiar with common accessibility guidelines. Experience designing a high traffic application for internal users.
Android application design experience.
Motion or animation experience. null
