Job Duties: Deliver resilient and scalable code. Create technical solutions based on productrequirements and user stories with minimal supervision. Write, test, and deploy efficient,scalable code to production that impacts millions of individuals. Participate in code and designreviews. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Domain expert on aspects of thepayment processing industry. Communicate engineering concepts and efforts with outsidestakeholders in product marketing, operations, business, legal and compliance. Work in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment across multiple offices. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science,Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in joboffered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Collaborate with product managers and other developers todesign solutions to customer problems; (2) Manage & build source code using modern versioncontrol and build pipeline tools; (3) Author code in Python leveraging modern developmentframeworks; (4) Build web applications using modern web frameworks; (5) Write code toproduce and consume data-driven APIs; (6) Build and deploy resilient, distributed container-based applications, preferably using Docker; (7) Design web applications to implement cutting-edge payment solutions, leveraging Angular, JavaScript and Node; (8) Integrate modern websolutions with observability tooling and alerting, for example Datadog or Splunk. Any suitablecombination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
