Filament Games seeks a talented and self-driven mid-level full stack developer to join our team in creating next generation learning games and technology solutions. Full stack developers work intimately with an interdisciplinary team of professionals and play a key role in the usability and success of our projects.
A full stack developer is largely responsible for:
Collaborating with designers, other programmers, and clients to conceptualize usable web experiencesImplementing web design templates in the appropriate frontend frameworkImplementing application logic and web service APIsIteration and maintenance on web frontends and backendsRegular communication with other developers and producersKey Responsibilities
Implement frontend application logicImplement web application designs with HTML and CSS (or SASS) from Figma or Adobe XD mockupsImplement web service APIsIdentify dependencies between tasks and recommend the most efficient way to organize your workRequired Skills and Experience
Expert in TypeScriptExpert in GitProficient in at least one modern full stack framework such as NextJS, Rails, Django or similarProficient with Jira, Trello or another scrum/kanban toolExperience writing automated testsExperience working on small teams or projectsExperience working in an iterative software development environmentExperience with a CSS framework like Bootstrap, Tailwind, or similarTypical Education and Experience
3 years of recent professional web development experienceAssociates degree or equivalentAt least one generally available application where you significantly contributed to the frontendAt least one generally available application where you significantly contributed to the backendBonus Points
Experience building CI/CD pipelinesExperience with containers and/or container orchestrationExperience implementing design systems
