JOB SUMMARY

The Digital Marketing Specialist's main goal is to grow Kennedy Catholic's digital brand influence while increasing awareness, loyalty, and attendance. Additional functions include collaboration and support of the department, and marketing and communications activities to promote Kennedy Catholic internally and externally. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications.

QUALIFICATIONS Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Marketing or related fieldProven work experience in digital marketing and/or social media managementDemonstrable experience working with SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email, social

media, and/or digital advertising campaignsHighly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digitalcampaigns that engage, inform, and motivate

Experience with A/B and multivariate experimentsIn-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website

analyticsExperience working with web platforms; coding not necessaryFamiliarity with Catholic schools or a school environment is beneficialExcellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detailUp-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and

measurementAbility to generate, share and follow through on ideas to promote Kennedy CatholicAbility to work well with others in a collaborative, fast-paced and professional

environment

Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesSupport Director of Marketing with all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and digital advertising campaignsDesign, build and maintain Kennedy Catholic social media presenceOversee Brand Team to strategize for social media initiativesResponsible for updating and maintaining strong UX of Kennedy Catholic website

(Finalsite)Measure and report performance of all digital and social marketing campaigns, and

assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies, including engaging brand messagingMain contact for the Kennedy Catholic website: collaborate with internal teams, as well

as Finalsite, to create landing pages, optimize user experience, and keep site up-to-dateResponsible for writing, collating and/or posting weekly eNews and daily

announcementsCreate relationship with, and send photos/videos to, local pressAssist with events, as needed, especially with capturing video/photosSome nights and weekends are requiredOther duties as assigned
