SUMMARY:

The WMS Manager will be responsible for raising the awareness of the Costco Auto Program at Costco Warehouses domestically and internationally. This role is responsible for building relationships in their assigned territories through a combination of virtual/onsite meetings. The WMS Manager works independently using organizational and sales skills to educate key management on program events, updates, and market trends.

Qualified candidates must currently reside in the Central to Eastern region of the United States

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Independently manage your territory and relationships and oversee marketing improvement/awareness for warehouses domestically and internationallyDevelop a marketing plan for your assigned territories to increase visibility of the program and member awarenessManages and schedules own travelTravels (by plane and auto) to warehouse locations within territory at least 26 weeks per yearDevelop effective ways to market new products into an area with correlating marketing campaignsDevelop strong relationships with all your client's decision makersStay abreast of your client's current goals and objectivesUnderstand how your client's customers interact in each of your marketplaces to enhance engagement and increase visibility of the program and your client's customer awarenessContinuous education on product knowledge and events to successfully communicate the company's goals and visionUnderstand how the competitors relate to their customer by researching and shopping them in your assigned areasAnalyze, document and formally report pertinent data to the key managers which includes individual, district, and regional statistics to assist with key strategic direction for marketing pieces, vehicle display, and education on the program/eventsDemonstrate an unwavering commitment to the client relationshipMaintain superior client service levels to increase support of the company's objectivesPlan and conduct virtual/onsite educational presentations for managers and personnelInteract directly with your clients to assess individual needs, present value-added solutions, and manager marketing awareness processesCollaborate with your direct supervisor on current marketing trends, opportunities, and goals regarding your assigned areasDocument all aspects of the warehouse file in the company's internal CRM (contacts, displays, visit evaluations form, connection notes, etc.)Other duties as assignedRequirements

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

A four-year college or university degree, or minimum of three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Excellent communication and presentation skills including and not limited to onsite/virtual meetingsAble to independently plan and successfully travel 26+ weeks per year (this includes overnight travel)May be required to travel Mon-Friday, 2 weeks out of each monthAbility to successfully navigate virtual meetings and technologyAbility to actively listen and overcome client objections or concernsAbility to communicate effectively on multiple levelsAbility to seek out opportunities to increase program awarenessFriendly demeanor, positive attitude, and professional appearanceExcellent organizational skills through providing plan of actions for warehouse support initiatives, connections, and meetingsProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, etc.)Excellent follow-up skills, detail-oriented, and efficientExcellent time management to adjust to business needsAble to present content in a confident, logical, and organized mannerExcellent grammar and professional writingIs flexible and works well in a team environment or independentlySelf-motivated, must be able to work independently with minimal supervisionAble to successfully plan long term and execute smaller goals to achieve the long-term goal(s)Display strong organizational skills while independently scheduling and traveling throughout the country and internationally to manage current or new warehouse relationshipsContinually strives to improve skills and knowledgeMust currently reside in the Central or Eastern region of the United States.Lifting (up to 50lbs)
