FULL DESCRIPTION:
Under the supervision of the Engineering Department, the CAD Designer will be trained for preparing residential plumbing construction documents for various projects.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:Assist in the development of design approaches and concepts on assigned projectsAssist in the data collection and/or field verificationEnsure that all drawings are prepared with accuracy, neatness, and prior to project deadlineCommunicate with team members, team leader, and outside builders to obtain necessary information of drawings.Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with coworkers and employees.Maintain excellent punctuality and attendance.Perform other duties, as assigned.
The selected candidate will also possess:Proficient in AutoCADConstruction knowledge and able to read structure plansGeneral knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookGeneral knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies a plusStrong organizational and detail-oriented skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsCapable of handling multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines.High school education/College and experience in AutoCADAutoCAD Experience in Plumbing Single Family a minimum of 5 years.Construction industry experience a plus
