We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team in Dallas, TX. In this 6-month contract role, you will play a crucial role in documenting our 401k plan and upcoming contract administration processes.
Responsibilities:Collaborate with various business units to extract key information and data related to the 401k plan and contract administration processes.Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for both internal and external audiences.Ensure all documentation adheres to established style guides and formatting standards.Utilize strong interviewing and research skills to effectively gather information from subject matter experts.Review existing documentation and identify areas for improvement.Maintain a meticulous attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all written materials.Provide writing samples that demonstrate your ability to clearly and accurately document complex information.
Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar role.Proven ability to extract technical information from subject matter experts and translate it into clear, concise, and user-friendly documents.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong research and interviewing skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience with content management systems (CMS) a plus.
