Technical WriterRemoteFortune 50 ClientOur client is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Technical Writer to join their Cyber Risk team. You will be editing and reviewing their internal database to ensure they have a strong repository of cybersecurity data for external audits.Your primary responsibility is to review, enhance, and maintain internal cybersecurity policies within our organization. Your role bridges the gap between technical expertise and clear, concise communication. You’ll collaborate with cybersecurity experts, legal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that our policies align with industry standards, legal requirements, and best practices.Responsibilities:Policy Review and Enhancement : Thoroughly review existing cybersecurity policies, identifying areas for improvement, clarity, and alignment with organizational goals.Risk Assessment : Collaborate with risk management teams to assess policy effectiveness in mitigating cybersecurity risks.Stakeholder Communication : Work closely with technical teams, executives, and employees to explain policy changes, answer questions, and address concerns.Policy Documentation : Edit and maintain policy documents, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and readability.Skills and Qualifications:Cybersecurity Knowledge : Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, threats, and risk management.Attention to Detail : Ability to spot inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in policy documents.Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex topics clearly.Collaboration : Work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Adaptability : Stay informed about evolving cybersecurity trends and adjust policies accordingly.ABOUT EIGHT ELEVEN:
