This position supports PEO Aviation, PM Aviation Mission Systems and Architecture (AMSA). This position requires a highly motivated individual with knowledge of digital signal processing and experience working with complex Radio Frequency systems across many different platforms.Generate software development roadmaps/strategies and cost estimates for?Radio Frequency?intensive systems.Capable of performing test and evaluation engineering of?Radio Frequency?systemsOversee and define requirements for software development activities associated with?Radio Frequency?signal collection and analysis.Evaluate emerging technologies and standards for use in Software Defined Radio systems.Perform countermeasures and vulnerability analysis for?Radio Frequency systems.Experience integrating and troubleshooting complex hardware/software intensive systems.Experience modeling and using modeling tools (using CAMEO)Support implementation and development of?digital signal processing of Ultra-Wide Bandwidth software defined radio (SDR) systems utilizing open standards such as VITA 49.2 and SOSA anddefine guidance for future development andstandardization.Experience developing technical reports and presentations; must have the ability to work independently and effectively in a multi-disciplinary teamenvironment.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership.
