About the Role

As the Sr Marketing Automation Analyst at LendingClub, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of cross channel marketing initiatives across email, SMS and push notifications. Your primary responsibility will be executing acquisition, remarketing, and cross-sell campaigns across our range of lending products. Your expertise in implementing marketing automation strategy through cross channel Journeys, particularly with ESPs like Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), will make you a key stakeholder in product launches and overall marketing strategies. Additionally, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing a robust testing agenda to optimize campaign performance and drive business growth.

What You'll Do

Campaign Execution: Lead the planning, development, and execution of automated email, SMS and Push Notification marketing campaigns creating personalized customer Journeys to enhance nurturing, acquisitions, remarketing, and cross-selling efforts related to LendingClub's lending products.Leverage your expertise, particularly in enterprise level platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), to execute marketing campaigns end-to-end, which includes:

Design and development of custom HTML/CSS email templates from scratch or based on previous designs, ensuring responsiveness and cross-client compatibility and adherence to brand guidelines.Dynamic content integration: Implement dynamic content and personalization elements within email templates using merge tags, conditional statements and scripting languages (e.g., Liquid, AMPscript) to deliver personalized and relevant messaging to recipients.Segmentation and Target list selection: Write and execute advance segmentation strategies using SQL queries to segment customer data from marketing databases, enabling targeting, and personalization for email marketing campaigns.Automation and Journeys: Campaign execution through the setup of automations and multi-channel journeys in platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Database Management: Support with data integration, segmentation, and enhancement of marketing databases to align evolving targeting strategies, and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with data privacy regulationsTesting Agenda: Support and implement a comprehensive creative testing agenda to experiment with various email design elements, copy variations, and innovative ways to leverage AI tools for personalized and dynamic content. Embrace cutting-edge AI-driven techniques to optimize engagement, click-through rates, and overall campaign performance, ensuring our email marketing remains at the forefront of innovationKey Stakeholder in Product Launches: Act as a vital contributor to product launches, providing valuable insights and strategies to maximize the impact of email marketing on product adoption and successPerformance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics regularly, providing detailed reports to relevant stakeholders and using findings to make data-backed recommendations for improvementCompliance and Best Practices: Ensure all email marketing campaigns comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices, maintaining a strong focus on customer privacy and data protection

About You

2+ years in marketing roles, with at least 1+ years in email marketing with a focus on consumer financial services or related industries; bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; or equivalent work experienceStrong understanding of email marketing platforms and tools, including expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles, with a keen eye for detail and design aestheticsProficiency in SQL and Experience in database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle, Salesforce) and marketing automation platformsStrong understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability standards, and email rendering considerations across different clients and devices, industry trends and regulatory requirementsDemonstrated ability to drive successful campaigns and achieve measurable resultsExcellent analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-makingExceptional communication, collaboration, and project management skills

We are currently working a hybrid schedule and our teams are in-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Time Zone Requirements

Compensation

The target base salary range for this position is 83,000-100,000. The position is also eligible to receive a bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings), equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges, other compensation and benefits offered are determined by role, experience level and location.
