Job Details
We are currently in search of a skilled Revit Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for Revit production and coordination on various projects. You will collaborate closely with our team to research, develop, and implement new Revit workflows, standards, and procedures.
Principal Responsibilities:Lead the production of Revit Modeling and Detailing for Architecture and Interiors projects.Work under the guidance of a registered design professional.Collaborate and Coordinate with project consulting engineers and contractors.Assist in maintaining and updating the firm’s digital Revit Library.Support in Revit Content creation, including parametric families.Integrate REVIT products with various applications (Autodesk, Renderings, Animations, Virtual Reality, Clash Detection, laser scans, Cost Estimation, etc.).Document and model existing conditions, which may involve field measuring/laser scanning at project sites.Occasionally attend BIM conferences for additional education and networking opportunities.
Requirements:Degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional design environment. A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.Alternatively, 4 years’ experience in an Architecture firm can be substituted for a degree.Willingness to support staff with a positive attitude, passion, and patience.Required REVIT experience. Experience with other applications such as AutoCAD, rendering/animation software, Enscape, cost estimation software, etc., is highly desired.Working knowledge of design industry workflows, production cycles, and priorities.Familiarity with general building construction.Strong communication skills and self-initiative.Successful assessment of current BIM and Revit skills will be a condition of employment.
