Compensation
Annual net-base salary starting at EUR 28.272 as per increment 1 of the applicable grade and salary scale for the duty station.Allowances and Benefits

Curriculum Vitae, Diploma, List of Professional Referees, Motivation Letter, PassportAspart of ICMPD’s West Africa (WA) Regional Office in Abuja, working in closecooperation with the Senior Project Manager of SMiWA, other project teammembers and liaising with ICMPD’s Corporate Communications Unit (COMMS) atHeadquarters, the Communication Officer implements and monitors theCommunication and Visibility Plan and actions of the project within the WAPortfolio.
Inline with ICMPD’s overall corporate communications strategy, s/he implements communicationactivities and produces a variety of outreach and visibility items and outputsaligned with the approved project’s objectives, work plan and availablecommunications budget and in line with partner and donor visibilityrequirements and communications guidelines. S/he produces high-qualitycommunications outputs (including infographics and text/layout for newslettersetc.) within the assigned project, enabling effective media pitches andpositive media coverage.
