Blackstone is seeking a detail-oriented, entrepreneurial Educational Content Strategist to join the Private Wealth Solutions (PWS) Marketing team. PWS was established to answer the growing demand for Blackstone products from individual investors. Blackstone serves these investors by partnering with many of the world's largest private banks, wealth management firms and family offices to offer institutional-quality private markets investments to these individual investors.

The PWS Marketing team works across each of Blackstone's business units and corporate functions to support a rapidly expanding business. The team is responsible for managing content, live events, and communications which support the distribution of Blackstone's investment solutions and thought leadership through our private wealth management partners. The Content vertical within PWS Marketing is tasked with helping build awareness, understanding, and confidence in private asset classes, product structures and investment strategy among clients, prospects, and the investment community at large through education, insights and investment communications. The specific subject matter, content, and project management duties that this individual will cover will vary widely on a day-to-day basis. The Associate / VP will report to PWS Marketing's Directors of Educational Content for Americas and EMEA / APAC.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

In collaboration with senior Marketing team leaders including the Directors of Educational Content, the candidate will partner with Blackstone's business units to develop content which helps drive advisors' understanding and adoption of private markets and alternative investments. Assets to be created include written communications, brochures, videos/scripts, presentations for live delivery, and digital content.Driving preliminary research and creation of materials including updates. Working with data resources to maintain and build the content suite.Requiring a strong affinity for succinct and commercial investment communications and content marketing.Handling client RFPs for education programs based on a deep understanding of the content suite.Drafting written materials and driving visual ideation for a range of materials used online, in live delivery by Blackstone personnel, and internally for planning and management purposes.Managing the content development workflow through a full review process of stakeholders inside and outside the PWS Marketing team. External stakeholders include but are not limited to legal & compliance, business unit subject-matter experts, firmwide marketing, and product strategy.Helping manage existing content programs including Blackstone's "Essentials of Private Markets" introductory education series, its Continuing Education program for financial advisors, and programs covering investment strategy and asset allocationEnsuring quality, error-free copy and data in all content. Must have the ability to edit for style, substance, and grammar and a strong ownership mentality for error-free data.Ensuring on-time, to-specification delivery of all projects with a strong ownership mindset.Ability to stand up repeatable content management processes and documentation that provides transparency to all stakeholders.Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in the asset management / wealth management segment with a focus on content strategy, content creation and investment communications.Passion for investment themes, ideas, and clear, simple expression of each.Previous work on private markets alternative investment themes a plus.Demonstrated experience with and command of Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, and other data providers is required.Strong Excel skills required. Ability to think critically and creatively about large data sets; ultra-high standards for data quality.History of helping develop content for financial advisor audience, with an understanding of the various intermediary channels in asset management, a plus.Organized, project-oriented, with the ability to manage recurring and opportunistic projects.Collaborative mindset; ability to work across teams and business units across Blackstone.The duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position. Expected annual base salary range:

$175,000 - $200,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
