The Monetization Product Design team is a small but influential team that steers the future of the revenue-generating products at Snapchat, including novel advertising formats like Augmented Reality, tools to help video creators monetize, and even our in-app subscription product, Snapchat+. Our Designers work closely with the CEO and various cross functional leaders to create a design and business led roadmap to build products and experiences that help big brands, small businesses, and creators build value with our community.
We're looking for a Senior Interface Designer to join our Monetization Product Design team at Snap Inc!
What you'll do:
Conceive of innovative new features and pitch those concepts directly to the CEOBe a driver for all aspects of product design and execution, including pitching ideas, designing the experience (visual design, interaction design, and prototyping), and communicating the solutions to necessary audiences within the companyDesign beautiful, simple, innovative, and intuitive experiences and flowsIdentify the needs of Advertisers, Creators, and Snapchatters, give high-level strategic input, and improve existing products and featuresDefine the short and long-term roadmap for your product area(s)Regularly give and receive feedback on designs and strategic product decisionsCommunicate design decisions to leadership, product and design peers, and engineersKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to inspire and drive end-to-end product and feature improvementsExceptional visual design skillsKnowledge and passion for interaction designAbility to prototype interactive mobile experiencesAbility to think at a high level about product strategyAbility to act as a Product Manager when neededAbility to think creatively and develop novel solutionsAbility to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous work environmentMinimum qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experienceA portfolio showcasing your work and strong mobile design skills5+ years experience designing and shipping mobile applications5+ years experience using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, or other design toolsPreferred qualifications:
Demonstrated experience with web tools, advertising tools specifically, and or mobile paymentsDeep understanding of Snapchat products

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):The base salary range for this position is $168,000-$252,000 annually.
Zone B:The base salary range for this position is $160,000-$239,000 annually.
Zone C:The base salary range for this position is $143,000-$214,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
