We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cabling, telecommunication, field service, and mechanical knowledge. If you have a passion for audiovisual technology and enjoy troubleshooting software issues, we want to hear from you.
Duration: 4-6 month contract with possibility of extension or conversionAll site locations will be in Dallas Forth Worth area. Mileage will be paid at IRS $.67 per mile.Hourly Rate: $25/hrSchedule: Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pmMust be able to pass a background check and drug screenMust have reliable transportation
Duties:- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot audiovisual systems- Perform field service visits to client locations for system setup and maintenance- Utilize schematics to guide installations and repairs- Handle low-voltage wiring and connections- Use hand tools to assemble and disassemble equipment- Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve technical issues
Qualifications:- Proficiency in cabling techniques for audiovisual systems- Experience in telecommunication or related field service work- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems to maintain equipment- Ability to read and interpret schematics for system installations- Familiarity with low-voltage wiring standards- Proficient in using hand tools for equipment assembly and disassembly- Strong skills in software troubleshooting for audiovisual systems
