Scope of Work:
The Social Media and Communications Coordinator leads Snowbasin's efforts in boosting our brand exposure through mass media channels, including social media, PR and online. This role works closely with the members of our team to ideate, develop, and post content that drives engagement and supports Snowbasin's world-class brand.

We relentlessly promote and experience the world-class product we sell, with a 3,000-acre mountain outside our office door with year-round recreation, and some really good food. Primary Duties:
Lead organic social media strategy across all platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube and TikTok.Interact with our audience on social media, engaging with posts, comments, tags, and messages.Collaborate with the marketing team and resort departments to develop a social media plan that drives engagement, showcases resort offerings, and communicates key messages.Regularly track and report on social media analytics, utilizing insights to improve our strategy.Collaborate with the Creative Specialist and Brand Coordinator on content development to post on social media channels, including photography, videography, and graphic design.Partner with our public relations agency to manage media outreach, hosting journalists or influencers, and serving as a spokesperson for Snowbasin Resort.Manage 3rd party communication and customer review platforms, including Yelp, Trip Advisor and Google.Assist Mountain Operations teams with providing operation updates on social media outlets, including weather, open lifts and trails, and parking statuses.Collaborate with community and partner organizations, including Ski Utah and Visit Ogden.Lead marketing efforts for community relations and resort events, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to promote and enhance the experience.Champion Snowbasin's award strategy, identifying opportunities, creating compelling nominations, and rallying guest participation to secure recognition for the resort and employees.Secondary Duties
Assist the Director of Marketing with copywriting and strategy for social media advertising.Assist the Digital Marketing Coordinator with updating content and copy on Snowbasin.com.Assist with response to crisis communication efforts for the resort.Requirements:
1+ years in marketing, communications, or related field.College coursework in business, communications, or similar field of study.Ability to ski or snowboard, or willingness to learn how with free lessons provided.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends or holidays for events or key resort dates.The dynamic nature of the resort requires collaboration in-person to best promote it. However, we also value work-life balance and offer the flexibility to work remotely on occasion when needed.Benefits:
