Responsibilities:

Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, business analysts, and system analysts. Define best practices, skills, and standards for development, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Strategic Collaboration:

Collaborate with the Director of the Platform to develop and implement development strategies. Provide recommendations for annual budget requirements.

Technical Excellence:

Drive best practices, quality, and security in solution development. Conduct code reviews, and feedback sessions, and utilize coaching tools to ensure staff performs effectively.

Vendor Management:

Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of development assignments in line with organizational standards.

Career Development:

Create career paths and development plans to support long-term growth for employees. Approve education and training opportunities, managing the training budget.

Alignment:

Work closely with other ITS departments to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure design and development align with organizational quality and information security standards. Advocate for modern design principles and framework components.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, with 6+ years of experience in information technology and 2+ years of management experience.

• Proficiency with Web, Marketing, Ad Tech, and Business-Intelligence, stacks - including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Clickstream, Google marketing platform, Microsoft marketing platform, Sprinklr, Give panel, Salesforce and integrating products and services with social media.

• Strong knowledge of Data Engineering & Architecture, API design, SQL, and automation technologies.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.

• Deep understanding of agile development processes and methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Passionate about developing the skills and capabilities of team members.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery practices.

• Knowledge of software engineering principles and techniques
