Lead, eCommerce Content Strategist

reporting to the Manager, eCommerce Content Strategy.

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.

Position Summary:

The

Lead, eCommerce Content Strategist , is responsible in executing go-to-market campaign strategies, marketing strategies, editorial content, product data content and all content creation for royalcaribbean.com. This role will work to innovatively solve content strategy challenges while leading a junior content strategist to help develop campaign execution and results.

A strong communicator, capable of working with key stakeholders in multiple teams. Developing, proposing, presenting, and selling new ideas, strategies, concepts, and tactics-then guide those projects to completion. The Lead, eCommerce Content Strategist is expected to utilize their analytical and creative muscles to think long term as we optimize our work throughout each campaign life cycle.

This role helps us connect with our guests the best way by deciding how to apply the right message to the right customer at a crucial moment to developing the content strategy that will bring visibility to key products at the right time. Providing recommendations on content layout and link architecture, and working closely with the UX, design, and development teams to assure development efforts are helping improve processes and customer satisfaction on the site. This process includes monitoring Web Analytics, Business Performance, and Customer Satisfaction closely to determine short and long-term opportunities, performing audits, informing content strategy efforts, identifying content gaps, and ensuring content on the web is reaching its max potential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Execute content development for new and existing marketing campaigns.Manage the go-to-market calendar for the web and ensures channel plans and strategies are executed on time.Deliver content for the customer journey from pre-cruising to post-cruising shopping.Implement appropriate localization/translation strategies working with relevant functions while ensuring a consistent brand experience.Delivering and managing content that better helps the guest understand the product, and for ensuring that content is accurate.Manages the ongoing maintenance of the content database.Work with stakeholders and manage relationships for long term content optimization.Communicate strategy efforts to key stakeholders and leadership.Partner with analytics and SEO research to understand customers' needs in all product initiatives.Deliver campaign results to Go-To-Market including detail activities and KPIs.Run experiments and evaluate data to develop content recommendations and insights for future marketing efforts.Work with partners to test product positioning and identify opportunities for end-to-end funnel optimization.Perform competitive analysis to inform decisions and adjust content themes/topics.Execute plans to develop the assets that support content development and expansion.Coordinate project deliverables and collaborate with team members from other departments such as internal creative services.Use content publishing systems to modify content to our site.Conduct content inventories and audits to identify website- and page-level issues, such as thematic gaps, thin or duplicate content, inadequate inlinks, and improper use of heading structures.Support product prioritization to meet business goals and ship deployment efforts.Arrange the review and final approval of content; document feedback and manage any changes.Further develop the consumer journey throughout the site for a personal shopping experience with innovative AI tactics and personalization.Perform UAT, QA, and testing to ensure tool sets are working properly and identify opportunities to improve our content capabilities.Qualifications and Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, English major, or similar5-6 years of professional experience with web content strategy.In-depth knowledge managing of content for one or more of the following: digital campaigns, websites and landing pages, emails, mobile applications.3+ years of experience working within a content management system.Ability to devise holistic content marketing strategic plans and ability to execute at a strategic and tactical level.Well-versed in content marketing best practices and passionate about elevating the game to be a leader in the space.Flexibility to changing priorities and being able to work on several projects simultaneously.Exceptional verbal, written and presentation communication skills and the ability to inspire others.Highly self-motivated, thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment, and work well within a team.
