Scrum Master for Marketing Systems

Job Description

As a Scrum Master, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Enable the scrum team to see the big picture

- Keep the team organized, on track, and focused on what matters

- Act as a bridge between product management and development teams

- Coordinate execution dependencies with other project managers / Scrum masters

- Drive the collaboration, coordination, execution and delivery of multifunctional projects

- Clear obstacles and protect the team from distractions

- Own project setup (Charter, Plan, Team Structure, Wiki, Jira boards etc.)

- Mentor others on Agile standard methodologies and ensure scrum teams enthusiastically apply core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability and visibility

- Collaborate with other managers on internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information

- Partner with stakeholders, product managers, business analysts, engineering managers to plan releases and manage a healthy backlog

- Endorse and present appropriate metrics to sustain continuous improvement and drive scrum team excellence.

- Report on team progress, team status, risks and issues

- Work towards trusting and safe space where problems can be raised without fear of blame with an emphasis of healing and problem solving

- Coach teams and organization on how to use Agile practices and values

- Coach and empower teams on self organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks

- Purposefully advance your maturity as an Agile coach
