Description :

Would you rather edit a video than write a cover letter? Then you may be perfect for this role. Betches Media is looking for a Video Editor to add to our video team!
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled video editor who is proficient in editing both long-form and short-form comedic, narrative, and/or unscripted digital video content across Betches Media platforms via YouTube, Instagram & TikTok. You will play a major part in growing our YouTube account with a slate of new original series.
This role will report to the Senior Video Director and be responsible for working alongside various members of the company.
Responsibilities :
Edit a variety of video content (sketches, interviews, celebrity compilations) under tight deadlines, using impeccable creative instincts and industry best practicesFully support all aspects of the editing processDrive all aspects of the video post-production process from ingesting footage, to creating multiple edits for different social platforms, to exporting for final deliveryEdit multiple videos lengths and sizes from end-to-end and format according to asset needsWork with the Senior Video Director on prioritizing projectsAble to experiment with different versions of an edit, exploring multiple directions if needed
Requirements:
Experience in editing comedy sketches, interviews, short form videosProficiency in the Adobe Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.)Organize footage and final cutsA comedic background or interest in comedyBasic understanding of designPast media experience a plusKnowledge of YouTube analytics and strategy a plusBasic understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and typography.Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Robust understanding of and ability to work within our brand guidelines and voice, ensuring consistency and alignment across all communication and creative outputs.Ability to stay current with social media trends, and bring new ideas to the table.Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take direction and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Previous experience in video editing and graphic design in the brand space is a plus.

Compensation:
The expected annual base salary for this role is $65,000 - $75,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation and offer package will include the following perks below.
