Our fast growing, SaaS client is seeking a versatile Technical Content Engineer to join their team at our Pleasanton,CA office. This unique role requires a blend of skills in content writing, front-end development (specifically in React), and a passion for creating engaging, informative customer experiences. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our customer portal built on Docusaurus, crafting user-centric documentation, and automating customer onboarding workflows. This position is 100% onsite and offers the opportunity to significantly impact our customer engagement strategy.
What you'll do:Craft user manuals, how-to guides, and other technical documents that are clear, concise, and engaging.Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to understand technical concepts and functionalities. (In-depth implementation knowledge is not required, but a strong grasp of technical principles is essential.)Contribute to our documentation repositories, utilizing a docs-as-code approach.Expand upon existing content, injecting your unique voice and expertise, and rounding out our current knowledge bases.Embrace challenges-you'll encounter problems you haven't faced before, but we'll provide the resources and support to help you learn and conquer them.Who You Are:
4-7 years of professional experience as a support engineer, technical writer, or similar rolemaster communicator with a knack for simplifying complex information.Highly technical with strong ability to pick up on and understand technical concepts.passionate advocate for beautiful documentation and user enablement.Thrives on tackling new challenges and embraces a continuous learning mindset.Bonus Points:
Knowledge and working experience with Docusaurus or other documentation frameworks.ctively involved in the open-source community.Familiarity with our industry or related fields (we'll provide training, but relevant experience is a plus).
