Position Summary

The Junior Business Analyst will be part of a team in the Office of the President. The role will work directly with the Senior Business Analyst and the marketing and distribution team to develop internal and external analytics, tracking and budgeting distrubiton related expenses, and serve as the point person for the team in salesforce. The Junior Business Analyst role presents an opportunity to be involved in key workflow and business decisions for Guggenheim Investments. This role can be based either in Darien, CT or the NY office.

Essential Job Functions

Regularly reviews sales databases (i.e. Salesforce), adding or maintaining new data as neededUsing sales databases, create reports and analyze data by clients, prospects, strategic partners, and internal salespersons/groups.Use sales databases to create and track strategic partner relationship profiles, revenue sharing agreements and information regarding product strategy and developmentWork cross functionally across business groups to aggregate budget requests related to conference spend and other T&EManage a process to track and facilitate approvals for T&E spendWork with Sales team to track and standardize sales pipelines for reporting and presentation purposesAssists management by conducting various research and data analysis for budget forecastingWork with Sales and Product Strategy teams to collect and present information on competitor commission analysis, sales commission modeling, and Guggenheim's commission scenario analysisMaintain datasets for large scale conferences to track information around internal and external participationPart of team responsible for maintaining and updating job descriptions defining roles and responsibilities for across the firm.Work with Finance and Sales departments to create and track P&L for Guggenheim funds and strategiesWork with all business areas to solution departmental operational, data, and technology projects affecting multiple departmentsWork with Management, Sales and Finance to set annual sales goalsWork with Sales Management, Product Strategy and Finance to assess sales territories and identify new territory development opportunities based on sales data from databasesPart of team responsible for maintaining and updating organizational charts across the firmAssist managers and complete new hire requests and approvals, aggregating necessary information regarding role responsibilities and budgetPreferred Qualifications

Highly organized, detail oriented, and analyticalExperience working in a matrixed environemntExperience working with Salesforce CRMBasic Qualifications

2-4 years of experienceUndergraduate Degree required, preferably with concentrations in Business, Finance, Data Analytics Economics, or related fieldProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointAbility to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to travel between our Darien, CT and New York City offices

Salary Details

Annual base salary between $95,000 and $100,000.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
