Summary:

Successful candidates should demonstrate leadership and flexibility, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with executive-level clients, project team members, and support staff. Candidates should possess strong core consulting skills and be able to apply critical problem-solving methodology and project management rigor to drive the formulation of strategy and execution of initiatives for our clients.

Responsibilities:*Be trusted advisor to clients on strategic Sales and Marketing initiatives and organizational capabilities.Sample projects include:

Collaborative Planning: Lead the creation and integration of new ways of selling and planning for sales organizations and their customers.Insights Commercialization: From custom research to designing how best to integrate insights into a companies business operations, building a companies ability to uncover and then take action with insights.Capability Development: Supporting the skill development across Sales and Marketing organizations, our client has a wide range of trainings and process improvement projects that advance organizational capabilities.Portfolio Optimization: Initiatives have included price/pack strategies through complete overhaul of the go to market strategy for clients.Customer Segmentation: Ranging from an a refresh to full methodology development for multiple industries and clients to create clear and actionable plans.

Qualifications:

Strong interest in a growth opportunity to grow and evolve a practice for our client.Ideally the candidate has 2-3 years of practice build and leadership experience, but not necessary12-18+ years of experience leading sales or marketing within a leading CPG company or marketing strategy consulting firmMBA is strongly preferred, Bachelor's degree requiredWell-developed project management, problem-solving skills, and creative thinkingExcellent ability to analyze data and create insights from both quantitative and qualitative sourcesResults-oriented with strong initiative and ability to quickly adapt to changing business environmentSuperior communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to influence, persuade and ask the tough questionsAbility to develop a strategy as well as execute the tactical implementation of that strategyPrior experience leading teams and enhancing team success through guidance, leadership, and active participation on internal and external client project teamsAbility to cultivate existing and new client relationshipsStrong work ethic with the desire to continuously learn and improve
