General responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Contribute to the implementation of annual company and market sector-specific strategic plansAbility to manage and make decisions regarding day-to-day marketing and program tasksCreate, edit, and produce well-written and graphically sophisticated content for marketing materials including proposals in both general and SF330 formats, statements of qualifications, award submittals, presentations, marketing collateral, handouts, and promotional materialsCollaborate with the communications team for market-specific communications needs such as email marketing, social media, news, and blog content, etc.Support regular marketing audits as directed by the Marketing ManagerProactively coordinate with marketing and technical staff to create and update master descriptions for projects; interview technical staff concerning project details; draft content; collect photography for projects, personnel, and marketing collateral; and collaborate with technical and marketing staff to ensure content accuracyCoordinate with marketing and technical staff to create and maintain up-to-date, personnel resumesSupport capture planning, proposal, and marketing research effortsAssist in pre-positioning efforts for specific project pursuits as directed by the Marketing Manager, Business Developers, and Seller-DoersAssist the CRM Manager and marketing team in maintaining the CRM database including maintenance of opportunities, projects, clients, and contactsAssist with proofreading proposals and other marketing content for strategy, compliance, and grammarProvide printing, production, assembly, and delivery support of marketing materialsSupport outreach efforts such as client events, white paper or presentation development, tradeshow/conference participation, and public relations efforts as neededMentor and train Marketing Coordinators and Marketing Assistants as neededExtensive writing and frequent communication via phone, email, and in person with co-workers, clients, and subconsultantsRepresent the marketing department internally, as well as externally through professional organizations and through consultant teaming interactionsPerform any other assignments or tasks as needed or requested by management to assist in accomplishing the organization's mission, objectives, and goals.Occasional travel may be required.

Education, Technology, and ExperienceAssociates or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Business, or a related field with 4-7 years of relevant experience recommendedWithout a degree, 5-10 years of relevant A/E/C experience requiredEffectively utilize current company software programs for proposal and marketing collateral development, word processing, e-mail, and information management. Programs include:Adobe InDesignAdobe AcrobatMS WordMS ExcelMS OutlookMS PowerPointMicrosoft Dynamics or equivalent CRM softwareExperience in the use of the following programs is desirable:Adobe PhotoshopOpen Asset

Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) may be given additional considerationA Senior Marketing Coordinator will typically have professional and internship experience in related marketing, business development, public relations roles within the A/E/C industry.Experience in the development of proposals in the SF 330, Virginia AE, or SF254/255 formats may be given additional consideration

Physical RequirementsWork is sedentary and often performed in an office setting. The work area is lighted, heated, and ventilated.
