ResponsibilitiesTo provide administrative support for the Marketing and culinary team by serving as a liaison between each department while taking ownership of specific initiatives that will assist in driving revenue and cross-departmental support. This role reports to the VP of Marketing. The specialist role will be the glue for our guests, locals, and employees, allowing for Fontainebleau Miami Beach to activate on brand pillars (Bleaulive, culinary, music, entertainment, wellness, etc) in a way that creates both valuable and memorable experiences for our guests, ultimately driving loyalty to the brand and providing hotels a way to differentiate themselves in the ever-growing lifestyle hotel marketplace. The position ensures that there is someone available at key times to focus entirely on providing guests with communication, interdepartmental communication and overall marketing support while maintaining a positive demeanor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Collaborate with accounting on a daily basis to setup new vendors.

Manage the process of following up with accounting and vendors to ensure timely payments are scheduled.

Maintain a high level of organization and detail-oriented skills.

Maintain professional communication between internal departments and external vendors.

Maintain organization within the shared drive and own organizing asset library.

Organize meetings with internal and external teams (manage calendars)

Compile and maintain accuracy in expense reports for marketing team members.

Organize influencer and editor gifting and amenities.

Maintain log/calendars of events, mailings, emails, web promotions, seasonal, creative, and other programs related to assigned departments.

Collaborate with Marketing team members to uphold the brand identity through all mediums.

Track all action items, and recommendations assigned, and follow up with Team Members by taking notes and sending agendas 24 hours prior to meetings.

Assist with content creation, writing, and editing stories and promotions.

Help develop special events and offers in key need periods to drive business.

Support with editor and influencer reservations.

Build a knowledge base, including keeping current on the latest trends in the hotel marketing industry.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Proven experience providing exceptional client service.

Associates or Bachelors in communication or finance a plus

Minimum 2 years in the marketing industry, preferably hospitality environment
