SUMMARY

The Social Media Marketing Manager will lead the creation and implementation of social media marketing strategies aimed at expanding brand awareness, building our online (and through it, in-store) community, and bringing the joy of CDMX to the US. They will oversee digital marketing partners, social brand partnerships, and our digital footprint. We are looking for someone who is as big of a nerd about food as they are about building social strategy and who genuinely loves making content and brand building online! You should have experience in running a social media account, producing content, and writing copy, but also be excited to learn and grow your digital marketing experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Social Media, Influencer Collaboration, Content CreationCreate engaging and relevant content (including video and photography) for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand identity and marketing objectives.Develop and implement strategies for managing user-generated content and encourage and incentivize customers to generate content, fostering a sense of community and brand advocacy.Build relationships with social media partners, such as brands and influencers, to promote the brandMonitor social media trends and customer feedback, and respond promptly to inquiries and comments.Email Marketing:Develop and execute email marketing campaigns alongside social campaigns to engage with existing customers and drive new user acquisitionManage the email database, segment subscribers, monitor and optimize campaign performance.Create compelling and personalized email content, including promotions, newsletters, and event invitations.Monitor email marketing metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, implementing data-driven strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness and ROI.

Digital & Advertising:Oversee and maintain all digital platforms, including but not limited to, the official website, social media channels, Meta/Google business pages, Delivery Platforms, Yelp, Trip Advisor, and others to ensure content accuracy and a seamless user experienceMaintain a central digital calendar reflecting all owned campaigns and initiatives to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments on events and promotionsOversee promotion execution on delivery platforms like DoorDash or UberEats

Loyalty Program Management:Oversee the loyalty program, including member acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies.Develop creative initiatives and promotions to drive loyalty program participation and customer satisfaction.Analyze loyalty program data to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities for improvement.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:Track and analyze key performance metrics across all digital marketing channels.Generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

Small to medium office or shared workspaceGeneral Office Hours with the expectation to respond to email outside of office hoursWe operate in a hybrid work environment that offers up to two remote days per week, provided standards are upheld to the highest degree with respect to output and deliverables. Additionally, the employee must be available for meetings remotely when they are not physically in the officeCOMPENSATION:

$65,000-$85,000 annual + bonus potential. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

2+ years experience in managing a brand social media account, preferably in the food + beverage industryBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferredExceptional written and verbal communication skillsCreative mindset with a keen eye for design and storytellingStrong knowledge of digital platforms, including websites, mobile apps, and social media channelsProficiency in email marketing platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and marketing automation toolsFamiliarity with digital advertising platforms, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and display advertising networksStrong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage external partnershipsFluency in Spanish preferred but not required
