Your Role and Impact

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Vertical Marketing Manager (VMM) to lead our marketing efforts in the public sector, including federal, and SLED sectors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the government market, including its trends and challenges. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, building content and marketing campaigns that effectively target customers and drive revenue growth, dealing with RFPs and processes at the federal and state level. You will oversee RFPs and determine requirements, product needs, and timelines in collaboration with internal Sales and PM teams.

Day to Day Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing strategies to effectively target government customers, including federal, state, and local agenciesConduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on government market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needsDevelop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social media, webinars, events, and content marketingCreate compelling marketing collateral and messaging that effectively communicates the value of our products and solutions to government customersCollaborate with the sales team to identify key accounts and develop account-specific marketing plansBuild and maintain relationships with key public sector customers, industry associations, and other stakeholders to strengthen our brand and reputation in the marketWork closely with internal teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to ensure alignment on marketing strategies and initiativesYour Profile

BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field7+ years in marketing with a focus in the government spaceDeep understanding of the public market, including its trends, challenges, and opportunitiesStrong understanding of marketing principles and practices, including account-based marketing and demand generationProven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaignsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market data and customer insights to inform marketing strategiesExcellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teamsPassion for technology and visual display is a plusWhat's in it for you:
