W. W. Norton & Company is seeking a Educational Technology Specialist to join its college department. A key member of the sales team, the Educational Technology Specialist collaborates with Norton college sales representatives to drive the use of digital products and increase digital growth and revenue. This position is based in the Midwest of the US.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating and presenting Norton digital products to college faculty.
  • Using consultative strategies to help current customers adopt Norton digital products.
  • Establishing campus-level relationships with Inclusive Access and LMS administrators.
  • Implementing Inclusive Access strategies across multiple territories.
  • Training Norton sales representatives on digital products.
  • Communicating and updating sales opportunities via CRM.
  • Implementing targeted strategies to increase digital revenue within aligned territories.
  • Training college educators to implement Norton digital products and facilitate student success.
  • Attending Norton National Sales Conferences and leading product training sessions.
  • Collaborating with product development, editorial, marketing, and sales teams to provide product feedback and develop digital strategies for existing and forthcoming digital products.
  • Attending a semi-annual meeting with Norton’s digital product development and editorial teams in the New York office.

Experience and Skills:

  • Proven success as a sales representative with a minimum of two years of sales experience. Ed tech sales experience is preferred.
  • Passionate about education and has strong interest in instructional technology and the digital needs of both students and instructors.
  • Strong leadership skills and initiative.
  • Experience with Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, and D2L.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM management.
  • Able to travel up to 40% overnight during the academic year in addition to academic meetings and Norton conferences.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Employment eligibility to work with W.W. Norton & Company in the US is required.

Compensation and Benefits*

Currently available benefits include:

  • Total compensation, including discretionary bonuses, for this position is $80,000-$120,000. All salaries and salary ranges posted by Norton may vary depending on experience, skills, location, and like considerations.
