Job Description:

HPE is looking for a seasoned and highly driven Product Marketing Manager to focus on HPE Alletra Storage Server product solutions. The ideal applicant for this position will define, promote, and drive demand for HPE's unique Alletra Storage Server solutions, which are a critical component of HPE's core storage product line.

This position will be critical in shaping the product's market positioning and message. This position entails assessing market trends, doing competitive research, developing marketing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to put these strategies into action. You will direct activities to produce product launch strategies, successful marketing campaigns, and sales enablement materials. Possessing subject matter expertise in the HPE Alletra Storage Server will empower you to effectively position the product in the eyes of both internal stakeholders and prospective clients. You must possess exceptional communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure and storage solutions in order to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

Develop a deep understanding of the HPE Storage and HPE Alletra product suite.Identify key product and market opportunities and define the go-to-market strategy.Develop messaging and positioning for our products, clearly differentiating them in the marketplace.Execute compelling product launch campaigns, events, and sales enablement activities.Develop marketing tools and collateral such as datasheets, presentation decks, demos, and white papers.Work closely with sales and product teams to develop strategies and programs to drive customer conversion.Use customer and market research to provide inputs into product development, positioning and pricing.Collaborate with other departments (including PR, design, and content) to promote the product.Define, track, and report key metrics to assess market acceptance and to drive product marketing strategy.Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.10+ years product marketing experience, including offering marketing, segment marketing, partner marketing, market research and customer database/ analytics.Agency, sales and/or channel experience.Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of IT and data storage market: Being well-versed with market trends, competitive landscape, customer requirements, and technological advancements related to IT and data storage is important.Marketing skills: A high level of understanding and knowledge in product marketing strategies including digital marketing, content marketing, SEO, social media advertising, and more.Strategic planning and forecasting: Proficiency in product strategy development, including forecasting, market segmentation, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies.Project management skills: Proficiency in overseeing all stages of the marketing project, from planning to execution to evaluation.Analytical skills: The ability to analyze and interpret complex data to help drive marketing decisions.Interpersonal skills: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, research & development, and product development to effectively implement and align marketing strategies with the overall business goals.Communication skills: Superior written and oral communication skills are needed for presentations, content creation, customer and team interaction.Understanding of product lifecycle management: This includes knowledge of how to introduce, grow, mature, and ultimately retire products in a way that maximizes profitability.Technical knowledge: A good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing and data management principles, to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Negotiation skills: Proficiency in negotiating contracts with vendors and service providers.Leadership skills: Ability to guide and manage the marketing team effectively.Financial skills: Ability to set budgets, analyze financial data, and manage cost in relation to marketing plans and strategies.Presentation skills: Ability to effectively present the product to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.Impact/Scope:

Drive/execute/evaluate product marketing strategies and tactics that drive demonstrable revenue, share gains and customer/partner engagement.Strong partner to sales in key account acquisition/ development.Complexity:

High - Deals with highly complicated strategic/tactical issues; interfaces with senior marketing management, senior cross-functional/cross- organizational management, senior marketing partner management and end customers.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $111,000.00 - $255,500.00
