Senior Communications & Marketing Manager

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Strategy & Marketing, this role will be leading enterprise-wide corporate communications, as well as all external marketing efforts for SunSource's Fluid Power business unit. This is a high impact role in a fast-growing company that will be integral in evolving the marketing organization to scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enterprise Corporate Communications:

Develop and implement communication strategy to build and maintain positive and consistent brand in the marketplaceProvide consistent and timely information to employees through various communication programs, including wellness, benefits, employee engagement and cultural initiativesCollaborate with marketing and product managers to create and implement an internal marketing plan to promote commercial insights, tools, training, and resources to enhance sales productivity, including industry overviews, success stories, digital tools, and product deep-divesPartner with HR to ensure consistent branding and messaging on open roles, new hires, and recognition programsFluid Power

(Industrial and Mobile)

Collaborate with business and sales leadership to develop annual marketing plan to drive the strategic and commercial prioritiesDesign, implement and oversee external campaigns to promote SunSource's fluid power products and services, build brand awareness, and generate leadsEmploy integrated and multi-channel approach across traditional print collateral, video, social media, physical trade shows, and industry eventsPartner with strategic marketing to quantify the market, identify and target key customer segments, and implement data-driven sales strategiesWork with product managers and trainers to develop rich content for product-focused sales strategies and account manager trainingSPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:

Ability to set direction, collaborate and work across the enterpriseKnowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising, market research, modern technology, and budgetingExperience developing and executing a comprehensive strategic marketing planTime management and organization skills to plan and execute projects simultaneouslyCreativity and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:

8+ years of experience in marketing2 Year Technical degree or Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or marketingProficient with Microsoft Office and marketing-related softwareExperience with Adobe InDesign and Creative Cloud Suite is a plusSUCCESS FACTORS:
