The Lone Tree Community School Library evening clerk will be responsible for the following: Patron Services: The library clerk should be able to assist Patrons with the following:
Destiny online catalogBasic Internet useBasic computer troubleshootingWhere books can be found in the libraryChecking books in and outReserving books
Material Maintenance: The library clerk should be able to assist the library director with the following:
Shelving booksRepairing booksReplacing damaged or incorrect barcode and spine labels
Supportive Services: The library clerk should be able to assist the library director with the following:
Adding new patrons, printing out a label, and laminating their cardRecording circulation countsInforming the director of needed suppliesKeeping the library neat and orderly
Material Processing: The library clerk should be able to assist the library director with the following:
Processing new booksPrinting and applying new barcodes and spine labels
The position is for the following hours:
Monday-3:30pm-7:00pm Tuesday-3:30pm-7:00pm Thursday-3:30pm-7:00pm The first Saturday of the month-8:30am-10:00am
