About Role

Ring Concierge's marketing team is on the hunt for a dynamic Creative Director to join its fast paced team. In this role, the Creative Director will work with and inspire the creative team through innovative creative strategy, ideas and design output. The Creative Director will have the opportunity to shape and innovate the course of creative marketing at Ring Concierge, through cross media campaigns and in-person experiences for the brand, Bespoke and Fine Jewelry. This role will be a dream job for someone who is able to partner with the senior leadership team to align on vision and big idea thinking and then work closely with the marketing team to translate, execute and bring that vision to life across all channels. Ring Concierge is in a high growth phase, so our teams are nimble and lean, and this candidate will need to straddle creative ideation as well as tactical and hands-on creative direction.

Responsibilities

CAMPAIGNS & PRODUCT LAUNCHESBuild dynamic campaign, product launch, and promo ideas across brand touchpoints throughout the Ring Concierge ecosystem, including but not limited to: print, social, digital media, .com, store, video, editorial and OOHDevelop digitally native and dynamic solutions to demonstrate best in class thinkingLeads brainstorming, strategizing and presenting creative plans to C-Suite Team, that help communicate merchandising's key messages while ensuring the final creative product is of the highest standard, optimized to achieve marketing goalsCollaborate with marketing, merchandising and product development departments to execute ideas, while implementing strategic tactics on time and within budgetInitiate, develop and implement cross channel visual identities for brand, high profile launches and eventsMaintain a personal network of creative and vendor partners to recommend and refer as needed to assist with execution and key workflow periodsPartner with CEO to shape the look and feel of our stores and drive a client-centric approach to in-person experiences through a knowledge of the latest technological and digital advancementsDAILY CONTENT & SOCIAL

Serve as the key creative lead, editing Graphic Designer's output (emails, web PDPs/PLPs, homepage, social IG stories, etc.) and setting the bar for innovative creative workHelp develop a compelling vision for video and photo content alongside Sr Photo Art Director and Brand Marketing DirectorCollaborate with marketing teams to find innovative creative uses for social media platforms (e.g. Instagram Live, Reels & TV, TikTok, etc). Guide Video Editor's production and workflow against marketing projectsWork closely with brand & social teams to ideate digital first campaign and platform ideas for brand and campaign launchesLead the Video Editor to be proactive in proposing and developing dynamic edit techniques to optimize content for various channelsBRAND

Help develop and influence the overall brand's look and feelDevelop the Brand Book and create iterations based on marketing & brand needsPartner with cross functional Marketing & Merchandising leads to ensure the creative team and the content the Graphic Designer produce is working collaboratively and efficiently across the businessEnsure brand consistency through the adherence to and development of our style guide and oversee application of these across all design outputs, helping to foster industry-leading workOwn the design templates and style guide to ensure a cohesive client journey, ensure that the existing touchpoints are aligned creativelyBe an external brand guardian, protecting Ring Concierge through consistent use of our logotype, templates, copy and tone of voice guidelines across strategic partner touchpointsMANAGE THE CREATIVE TEAM

Lead and manage a team of two Art Directors, Creative Ops Manager, Copywriter, and Video EditorSkillfully navigate diverse creative personalities to drive innovative outcomes, promote collaboration, and foster a dynamic team cultureSet clear objectives and performance expectations for team members, regularly assessing and providing feedback on individual and team performanceCoordinate and prioritize team projects and tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to brand standardsServe as a liaison between team members, the CEO, and the greater Brand Marketing team, communicating goals, priorities, and progress effectivelyRequirements

10+ years of design experience client or agency sideSignificant experience managing agile creative teams within DTC luxury or fashion retail industriesStrong presentation ability to key stakeholders and leadershipStrong leadership ability in a nimble and fast-paced environmentProven ability to work within a founder driven/growth oriented companyExperience in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro. Experience in Sketch, Figma and other digital creative toolsAbility to think strategically and translate creative ideas into commercial objectivesStrong typography grounding (for screen and print)Experience in brand supervision, development and implementationExperience art directing photo shoots and video productionFamiliarity with the operations and procedures of a content production teamKnowledge of digital trends, omni-channel marketing, online media, social networksProven background in designing high-quality content for premium brands with a strong portfolio showing visual and interactive design workAttuned to both the Ring Concierge brand, its competitors, and the wider jewelry market landscapeDetails - NYC
