About the position:We have an exciting opportunity for an Audience Development Manager. This role is at the center of our seven communities, helping to create new ways for audiences to discover and engage with our content.An important aspect of this role is the ability to develop insights from our data and reporting, that our editors can use to inform their decision making.You will be part of a team that works with all content and marketing teams in the organization. Success in this role requires collaboration across Editorial, Product, Research, Audience, and Marketing. You’ll be central to the success of our mission to grow deeply engaged audiences across our seven communities.Primary job functions:Social Media

Build and oversee organic and Paid social media strategy across the organizationOversee and lead a company wide social media task forceCoordinate between key stakeholders for organic and paid social campaigns and build operational processesManage the complete lifecycle of campaign execution and reporting

Search Engine Optimization

Develop content recirculation strategies, and support the editorial teams implementation of themProvide best practices, tools and guidelines to editorial for on-page SEO optimizationConduct adhoc keyword research or best practices trainings by requestProvide keyword insights for major packages and headlinesWork with product team to recommend and flag technical SEO updates and fixes

Syndication Partner Management

Maintain day-to-day communication with key partners including LinkedIn, Apple News, and Yahoo FinanceBuild and implement strategy for key channels, including training for participantsRegularly report data and identify strategies to assist in growth of these channels

Reporting and Analysis

Lead monthly content strategy and performance sessions with insights for each brand

Provide insight into content themes, production and performanceAnalyze data to provide targeted recommendations for improved optimization and promotion across organic channels

Coordinate with Subscriptions and Growth Content to provide monthly insightsOversee dashboard and reporting related to social media channelsWork with data team to provide up to date metrics in Content Performance Dashboard

Marketing & Content Operations

Day to day management of SEM, SEO and social platform vendorsConduct trainings on all social media platforms and best practices. Provide all social media onboarding trainings as well as adhoc social media trainings by requestProvide technical support for social media channels across the organizationManage access and training for SEO, SEM and Social platformsBuild operational processes for SEO, SEM and Social

Qualifications:Familiarity with social media management platformsA minimum of 3 to 5 years experience curating and promoting content through social media

Experience managing organic and paid social media campaigns

Any knowledge of banking, financial services, and the insurance industry is a plusExperience analyzing marketing analytics including all the KPIs associated with website analytics, email performance, social media, registration and subscription conversions – and formulating content marketing activities based on the resultsAbility to write and communicate data-driven insights effectively and succinctlyPast experience – or desire to learn internal executive communications skillsAbility to work in and succeed in a matrix environmentAbility to work in and succeed in a fast-pace and deadline driven environmentA two or four-year college degree, preferably in Liberal Arts, Marketing or Journalism
