If you're eager to dive into the world of website and content development and drive the success of our online presence, then we have an exciting opportunity for you! Rapids & Affiliates, a Foodservice Design, Equipment and Smallwares provider since 1936, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented, self-starting Website & Content Administrator to join our team and take charge of implementing, optimizing, and managing various web application tasks critical to our business growth.

As the newest part of our small but growing marketing team of 3 (known as the 3 Marketeers) you'll be introduced to various tools and platforms that form the backbone of our online operations. You'll become well-versed in the Magento 2 admin panel, WP Divi for WordPress, DDI Inform ERP, Nexcess hosting and FTP, and Cloudflare/CDN services. You'll also get acquainted with essential APIs and web applications, such as Taxjar, ShipperHQ, DDI Connector, Payment Gateways, and Google APIs. Furthermore, you'll explore a range of Magento Extensions from leading providers like Aheadworks, Amasaty, Mage Worx, and others.

As part of our growing company, you'll gain insights into the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and Scorecard KPIs to understand our business objectives better and how you can contribute to our future vision. You'll also be introduced to the tools we use for project management and communication, including Office 365, Trello, Basecamp, and more. Shadowing with our experienced Marketing Team will provide you with valuable exposure to our marketing strategies and the chance to collaborate with seasoned professionals.

As your time with us progresses, you'll be entrusted with more hands-on responsibilities executing on our Core Processes (SOPs). Your tasks will include pricing and product importing in Magento 2, creating and designing content for product, category, CMS and blog or project pages, and maintaining inventory interconnectivity. You'll also take charge of managing product reviews to Google through xml, weekly checks, and monthly updates for the Merchant Center. Additionally, you'll develop a new WordPress backup procedure to ensure data security.

As you mature in the position, you'll execute extension optimization to enhance the performance of our web applications further. Project management will be a crucial part of your role as you handle the M2 migration project and act as the point of contact for systems monitoring and issue reporting.

JOB DUTIES:

• Maintain, update, and optimize product pages and functionality of Magento 2 E-commerce platform.

• Maintain and optimize Wordpress marketing website content and functionality.

• Follow and Update Core Processes for data management with Magento.

• Create ecommerce website user enhancement and extension enhancement growth plan and execute in delivering on these enhancements to improve customer experience.
