Job SummaryThe Associate Director, Foundation Relations & Institutional Initiatives will lead collaborative planning with clinicians, administrators, associates, and external stakeholders (public agencies, schools, higher education, and community organizations) for the purpose of proposal development. Will develop project budgets and narratives to support institutional initiatives and program goals.

Pay RangeMinimum $59,341 Midpoint $89,001 Maximum $118,682

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

This is a grant-funded position for 3 years.

Experience

• Required: Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible management roles in nonprofit or public-sector organizations in managing programs and budget development. At least two (2) years of experience cultivating/stewarding relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders, such as public agencies, schools, higher education, and community organizations. Significant experience in writing, including researching and presenting data. Two (2) years of experience related to managing projects and budget development and management for the purpose of good stewardship of resources.Education

• Required: Bachelor's degree.

• Preferred: Master's degree.

Training• Required: Seminars/training on support for underserved communities.

Specialized Skills• Required: Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record in managing multiple demands and deadlines. Must be able to work independently and in collaboration with others. Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to effectively present information, analyze programmatic and budget needs, and work with leaders and staff to develop fundable proposals. Sound ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with absolute discretion. Ability to set goals and assess results in accordance with the highest standards, contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives that advance CHOC's mission and goals, and promote teamwork. Must possess a professional demeanor in approach and appearance. Ability to provide data analysis and interpretation with the ability to understand and explain research to a lay audience.Licensure
