Job Summary

The Stratascale Content Marketing Manager is a creative marketing professional who will oversee the development and distribution of content that engages and delights key stakeholders. They will take ownership over day-to-day content production for brand and demand generation activities including copywriting and editing. The ideal candidate has experience working with B2B technology organizations and is well-versed in inbound marketing strategies. They are a storyteller at heart and are energized by the idea of growing the Stratascale's brand.

This position will report to Charlotte, NC on a hybrid work schedule as determined by Stratascale management.

Responsibilities

Includes, but not limited to:Leads the development of Stratascale's content marketing strategy in partnership with the Sr. Director of MarketingCollaborates with subject matter experts and marketing team members to product high quality content aligned to the Stratascale buyer's journeyOversees all content planning initiatives and manages day to day content production:

Social media copywritingWebsite content managementEmail messaging developmentSales and marketing collateral creation including eBooks, white paper, one pagers, win wires, and case studiesPartners with creative team to develop briefs for video, graphics, and other design assets

Acts as quality control for Stratascale content:

Edit, proofreads, and improves company content using AP Style as a guideEnsures consistency in brand voice and writing styleConducts routine content audits and oversees organizational standards for content management and maintenanceIdentifies opportunities to enhance content through the addition of graphics, video elements, etc.

Continuously measures and improves content performanceOptimizes digital content based on SEO best practices and Google Analytics dataReports on the impact of content initiatives including influence on audience growth, client acquisition, and conversionsStays up to date on latest industry trends and client challenges to build compelling content across multiple mediums and distribution channelsProvides support to communications team on press releases, internal newsletters, media placements, etc.Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies for Stratascale and other duties as assigned by the Sr. Director of Marketing and executive leadershipQualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field5-7 years of experience in content-focused marketing roles (e.g., marketing specialist, content coordinator, copywriter)Excellent communication and writing skills with demonstrated knowledge of AP StyleExperience in the IT industry and / or B2B professional servicesEditorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferencesHands on experience with SEO and an understanding of web publishing requirementsExpertise in social media platformsStrong project management skillsRequired Skills

Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex subject matterMeticulous attention to detailCreativity and the ability to develop original contentAbility to define content strategies and align them to overarching business goalsHigh degree of proficiency in Microsoft 365 and the Adobe Creative Cloud SuiteHands on experience with WordPress or a similar Content Management SystemProficiency with Google Analytics and social media reporting toolsetsAbility to learn fast, absorb knowledge, and apply newly learned informationDemonstrated experience generating content and collaborating on graphic designAbility to create compelling and exciting messages that help Stratascale differentiate from our competitorsAbility to contribute to the design of effective, high-quality visualsAbility to work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externallyAbility to take ownership of assigned workload/projects and follow through to completionPassion for marketing, communications, and process efficiencyPreferred Skills:

Experience leveraging a marketing automation tool (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, MailChimp) to build and manage email communicationsContent marketing certification from source like HubSpot, Adobe, Marketo, etc.Understanding of how to leverage Generative AI tools as a force multiplier for content creationUnique Requirements

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $60,000 - $100,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
