Title: Marketing ManagerDuration: ~7 months - good chance of extensionLocation: Hybrid in McLean Preferred. Open to Richmond or Chicago.

Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for managing the development and execution of marketing and creative strategies to support various retail credit card programs across multiple channels and customer segments. The successful candidate is customer-centric with a strong track record in developing, managing, and executing multiple customer communications across several customer segments.

Responsibilities:

Builds and develops strong relationships with cross-functional team members and stakeholders focused on reaching our shared marketing objectives and goals.Oversees project management of deliverables, including coordinating with partners on marketing plans, timelines and results. Identifies any potential issues and opportunities and appropriately escalates. Develops detailed documentation for team reference.Leads creative including the development and execution for multiple marketing initiatives in both digital and print.Includes gaining design resource prioritization, developing the creative brief based on project intent, managing creative timelines, providing feedback to the creative team throughout development, routing for feedback and ensuring all required updates are made.Coordinates with channel partners in the execution of marketing campaigns, ranging from in-store collateral to sales and promotions within our client's servicing portal and monthly statements.Leverages customer insights, campaign performance results and partner needs when developing marketing initiative recommendations impacting marketing plan and/or creative strategy.Supports leadership with milestone campaign results reporting for weekly and monthly updates to illustrate the impact of marketing against portfolio goals.Takes a holistic and customer-centric view on end-to-end customer experience, including branding and usability.Champions the brand, ensuring that all marketing aligns to respective brand personas, voice and style guides.Collaborates with multiple cross-functional teams including creative, analytics, operations, legal, partner and business.Will engage with external partners throughout the marketing development and execution process.

Basic Qualifications:

4-year degree in Marketing, Communications or Business. 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a marketing, project management or agency environment.At least 2 years experience in planning, executing and analyzing marketing programsAt least 2 years of experience managing creative processes, partnering with creative teams and developing creative optimization frameworks that drive results.Strong communication and influence skills: verbal and written.

Preferred Experience in:

At least 2 years in financial services industryAt least 2 years in retail industry
