Position

UX/UI Designer

Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL

Security Clearance: Active Clearance Required - U.S. citizenship required

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 Depending on Experience and Education

Travel: 5%

Position Summary

SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a UI/UX Developer to support our Gulf Coast Operation in Fort Walton Beach, FL. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate as part of an Agile software development team and contribute to a CI/CD DevSecOps Environment.

Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into intuitive and functional designs.

Responsible for leading the UI/UX design and development to support all test capabilities including Test Resource Management, Test Planning, Vulnerability Identification, and Analysis.

Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using design tools such as Figma and similar software.

Implement best practices in user experience (UX) design to optimize usability and accessibility.

Stay updated on industry trends and design standards to continually enhance design quality and innovation.

Designing and developing software applications with Azure DevOps Server and other project management tools.

Minimum Qualifications of UX/UI Designer Bachelors Degree in technical field of study and 1-5 years of relevant experience. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.

Desired Experience

UI/UX Development Experience for Cloud Based Applications.

Knowledge of CI/CD Pipeline technologies and processes in an Agile Software Development environment.

Programing language knowledge desired (not required): Python, C#, C++, Razor pages, Web Assembly, WPF, SQL Server, etc.

Familiarity with .NET CORE, .NET 5, .NET 6, .NET 7, .NET 8 and .NET Framework.

Experience with Visual Studio, VS Code, Entity Framework, Docker Containers, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps Server.

Security+ or equivalent DoD approved 8570 Baseline Certification is highly encouraged.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams and a strong drive to learn.
